Our Team
Our Technology Transfer Team is responsible for:
- Identifying, protecting and promoting promising discoveries and technologies generated at Western, Robarts & Lawson;
- Guides and assists inventors in exercising value-added technology development strategy and exploring commercialization funding opportunities;
- Negotiates and closes licensing deals with industrial partners committed to developing Western, Robarts & Lawson inventions.

Executive Director
- Executive Director of WORLDiscoveries™
- Responsible for consolidating the Business Development Offices at the University of Western Ontario, Robarts Research Institute and Lawson Health Research Institute.
- Responsible for expanding WORLDiscoveries™ industry partnership, income and start-up portfolio.
- Previously served as CEO for two software companies and VP Operations for a leading energy services company.
- Active in several community initiatives including the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Thames Valley Children’s Centre, Techalliance of Southwestern Ontario and London Junior Knights Rep Hockey Program.

- Director
- Responsible for business development and commercialization of selected technologies in the engineering and applied science.
- Previously served as a Partner in an early-stage venture capital management firm, CEO of a profitable technology company start-up, and as President of the Stiller Centre for Technology Commercialization.
- Served as a Director or advisor to a number of early-stage start-ups across technology and business sectors.
